Safety & Important Use
Key reminders only. Read the full owner's manual and follow the handover instructions before use.
- Rider must weigh no more than 265 lb.
- Lock the seat before driving. Turn power OFF for transfers. Never stand on the footplate.
- Practice at low speed on level, clear ground. Slow for turns and take extra care when reversing.
- Use care on ramps, curbs and drop-offs. Avoid diagonal hill travel; maximum incline rating is 9°.
- Avoid rain, snow, ice, salt and standing water. Keep the chair and battery clean and dry.
- Check charge before trips. Use the supplied charger only and do not leave charging unattended for extended periods.
- No passengers. Do not ride in the wheelchair while it is inside a moving vehicle. It is not a vehicle seat or tie-down chair.
- Keep off public roads and follow pedestrian rules. Keep hands, clothing, bags and other loose items away from wheels and moving parts.
- Use only on stable surfaces. Repairs should be completed by qualified personnel; do not modify the chair.
Transport the folded, unoccupied chair separately. Keep the battery away from heat, water and metal objects. Stop using the battery if it is damaged, unusually hot or swollen.
A 9° maximum incline rating does not mean every ramp or outdoor surface is safe. Conditions, rider weight and battery level can affect performance. Stop if the route feels unsafe.
